Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will work closely with the culinary team to assist in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for catering events and daily service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
• Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods.

Skills

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with dietary guidelines and menu planning is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in food presentation.
