What You'll Be Up To - Essential Functions

• Safely and efficiently operate various types of trucks, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers.

-Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

• Works closely with shipping lead to coordinate trailer movements and assignments.

• Responsible for safe movement of trailers within the gems property.

• Transports flower goods and materials to designated locations following all traffic laws and regulations.

• Maintains accurate records of deliveries and pickups including load and pallets count.

• Communicates effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

• Ensures the safe loading and unloading of cargo

• Responsible for cleaning the vehicle and equipment assigned.

• Loads/unloads goods when needed.

• Verifies at delivery all documents are signed and returned at the end of each trip.

• Verifies cargo temperatures at all times.

Superpowers required - Skills and Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience

• Knowledge of various truck types and their operations

• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift/pull/push up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
