Surgical Technologist – Full-Time Position – Raleigh and Panther Creek Location

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our high-performing surgical team in an ambulatory surgery center. You'll play a vital role in ensuring operating rooms are prepped, sterile, and equipped for smooth surgical procedures. From setup to clean-up, you're the go-to for supporting surgeons, maintaining patient safety, and keeping things running like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up sterile surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures

  • Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgeries, ensuring aseptic technique is maintained

  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments efficiently

  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures

  • Handle specimens appropriately and ensure accurate labeling

  • Clean, disinfect, and restock ORs between procedures

  • Collaborate closely with nurses, anesthesia, and sterile processing teams

  • Uphold infection control standards and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred

  • Current BLS certification

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred—ambulatory surgery experience a plus

  • Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
