Associate Attorney

A boutique Personal Injury and Civil Litigation law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of litigation experience to join our team. This position offers hands-on litigation work, deposition and trial experience, and direct involvement in all phases of personal injury cases.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and motions in personal injury and civil litigation cases
• Prepare and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Conduct legal research and write briefs, memoranda, and motion practice materials
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Appear at court hearings, mediations, pre-trial conferences, and trials
• Assist with case management, trial preparation, and litigation strategy
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a litigation attorney or associate attorney
• Experience in personal injury law, civil litigation, or related practice areas preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, discovery obligations, and multiple cases
• Licensed to practice law in Kentucky (or eligible for admission)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $65,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience
