Summary Of Position
This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day function of receiving, issuing and securing warehouse items. Maintain an accurate record system for inventory control and ensure that proper transactions are recorded for all material movements. Participate in taking monthly, quarterly, or yearly inventories. Keep the warehouse in an orderly state and makes sure all supplies are stored in their proper location.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Adhere to all housekeeping standards for the warehouse and other buildings assigned to the warehouse.

Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Ability to operate a portable radio.

Process all incoming and outgoing freight.

Complete a walk around the facility to make sure all gates and doors are closed and locked and customers are escorted.

Receive all fuel and blasting with date and time received.

Make contact with maintenance supervisor about any unforeseen maintenance issues.

Follow proper processes for customer service at requisition window for daily parts.

Unload and load material on vehicles.

Correctly file paper work.

Become certified to sign for blasting.

Understand the "Hot Shot" process.

Understand all procedures for Preventative Maintenance baskets.

Participates in the safe operation of warehouse support equipment.

Qualifications
* Knowledge and Relevant Experience*

Minimum 1 year related experience in an administrative or related warehouse role, a high school diploma or GED or any combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge to successfully perform the job preferred.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Cranes and Rigging certification or ability to pass next test.

Skills
Strong written and verbal skills with; crews, supervisors, managers, coordinators, production, vendors and inspectors, providing task completion.

Must be a self-starter; work well with teams as well as independently.

Demonstrate good decision making skills and the ability to prioritize work.

Demonstrate a high level of housekeeping and organizational skills.

Consistently display positive behaviors that support company goals and objectives.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Produce consistent quality work, prioritize, and complete jobs in determined time frames.

  • Physical Demands:** While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to have the ability to: continuously stand and walk; frequently push up to 20 pounds, carry up to 42 pounds, forward bend while sitting or standing, rotate while sitting or standing, perform repetitive squats; occasionally forward bend while sitting or standing, kneel, climb stepladders, perform elevated work; rarely lift up to 65 pounds to waist, push with up to 62 pounds of force, forward bend while sitting, crouch, and climb stairs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Works in site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working on uneven surfaces; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.
  • Working Environment:** Works in office environment and site environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.
