Medical Assistant

Overview
Omni medical center is looking for a full time medical assistant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, administrative support, and assisting healthcare providers with a wide range of clinical tasks. We have two other locations (McKinney and Richardson, TX locations) that may require some travel of 10-20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and documenting symptoms
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
• Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
• Support medication administration under supervision and prepare patients for procedures like X-ray or other diagnostic tests
• Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record system (Eclinical Works)
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety standards
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
• Support administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
• Daily admin are assigned to be completed daily.

Experience

• Prior clinic experience preferred
• Experience with phlebotomy (1 year minimum)
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience working with EHR systems

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
