Auto Glass Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Glass Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of auto glass in various vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for delivering high-quality service. You will work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and repair of auto glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete glass installations.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure proper functioning of installed glass.
• Provide services post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components as needed for glass replacement.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours M-F to meet customer requirements on when they can get work done. Ability to work some Saturday hours is also a requirement.

Experience

• 3+ years of previous experience in auto glass installation or repair is required including experience with various vehicle types including passenger cars, cargo vans, cargo trucks and semi-trucks.
• Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is required.
• Experience with window tinting, auto body repair, or automotive repair is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations.
