HF Sinclair is seeking a Paralegal based in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will assist the legal department with contract administration and review, and with other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Duties- Manage contract process and contract administration activities, including contract drafting, contract review and negotiation, amendments, records maintenance, database management, and contract renewals.
- Manage projects, including drafting, reviewing, and transmitting legal correspondence and documents.
- Manage engagement, billing, and payments of outside counsel and other parties.
- Prepare responses to informal demands and claims.
- Monitor status of various legal matters and update databases.
- Assist as requested with miscellaneous legal issues for all departments.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance and operations to provide timely and accurate advice.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial and transactional agreements.
- Maintain and optimize contract templates and clause libraries within digital platforms to ensure consistency and reduce drafting time.
- Approach matters with eye for detail and excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Provide advanced corporate transactional, financing, and general commercial paralegal services in wide range of areas including but not limited to Finance, Commercial Transactions, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
- Effectively communicate with others at all levels of the organization and outside counsel, both written and verbal communication.
- Extremely responsive to a high volume of diverse requests.

- Serve as mentor to younger/less experienced paralegals.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by his/her superior, as determined from time to time in the supervisor's sole and complete discretion.
Experience- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience as a transactional paralegal at a law firm or corporation.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and managing contract templates.
- Familiarity with digital workflow automation and document management systems.
- Experience with Legal Tracker (or similar legal invoice processing system).
- Proven ability to lead or support legal operations projects, including implementing new technologies and processes to modernize transactional workflow.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to streamline contract lifecycle management and improve efficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills.
- Stable work history.
Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of ten (10) years' experience as a transactional paralegal.
Required Skills Demonstrates high standards of integrity, honesty, ethics, and confidentiality. Able to apply advanced clerical and data entry assignments based on pre-established guidelines. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone with the public, attorneys, government entities, contractors, etc. Ability to successfully negotiate with all internal client levels, external counterparties, and personalities. Advanced knowledge of the purpose and technology of legal documents and extensive knowledge of legal terminology. Advanced knowledge of legal concepts and procedures. Thorough knowledge of legal and business communication principles and practices, legal research techniques, and legal terminology. Relevant computer knowledge and experience. Advanced research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented; proven ability to work in a complex environment with multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high stress tolerance. Proficient in planning and organizing, and monitoring information. Advanced reading and intermediate math skills.Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility None. Work Conditions Office based with travel up to 5% required by land or air. Subject to varying road and weather conditions.
