Tasks will include:
Answering and making Inbound and Outbound calls Negotiating rates with carriers and vendors Provide customer service and call routing internally within the Company Customer service to existing clientele during and after office hours. Help maintain the profitability of the business with preventive measures and maintaining proper margins Claims prevention and dispatching Assist in claims resolution and the collection of proper documentation. Organization and collection of carrier files and contracts Building loads and data entry Contract Administrator Prepare and enter into contracts with carriers on load by load basis Organization and collection of carrier files and contracts Document management. Rate confirmations, carrier packets, customer load tenders Trace and Track of over the road shipments Update check calls in the transportation management system Updating co-workers and other team members on all shipment statuses Document management. Rate confirmations, carrier packets, customer load tenders Trace and Track of over the road shipments Update check calls in the transportation management system Updating co-workers and other customer loyalty team members on all shipment statuses Provide continual feedback and advice to management on day-to-day operation The first chain of command in resolving carrier and customer grievances and complaints Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and generate revenue growth. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential target markets. Posting loads and formulating potential rate quotes Prospecting for new business via email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings from time to time Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
