Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Quality Assurance. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Quality Assurance challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Document test cases and risk research and create test plans
• Record test progress and results
• Identify and track issues throughout testing
• Perform manual and automated testing
• Consult with users providing advice and direction
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
• Research system features being tested
• Partner with Engineers to develop testing strategy
• Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
• Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced staff

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• 4+ years of Systems Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 2+ years of HP Application Lifecyle Management (HP ALM)/Octane experience
• Knowledge and understanding of test plans, test strategy, test scripts, test procedures, ambiguity reviews, and expected results
• Experience with writing detailed manual scripts
• Previous experience with defect root cause analysis
• Experience documenting and communicating testing results across an organization
• JIRA experience
• Knowledge and understanding of various types and levels of testing (e.g., unit, integration, and system testing)
• Working knowledge of tools such as Postman, Splunk or Oracle SQL Developer
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Fraud & Claims Management Experience
