Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly at home
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating efficiency
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials
• Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or host in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and guest management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including guest services, serving protocols, and hospitality standards
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required
