Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed Part Time for our 2 Phoenix locations. This position is traveling between 2 offices (set schedule). This is a clinical setting. Minimum medical assistant experience required.

Allergy Experience Preferred but not required

Hours: (37 hours per week)

Tuesday 9-5:30 North Phoenix Location or Central Phoenix Location (rotates)

Wednesday 9-7:00 Central Phoenix Location (1 hour paid lunch)

Thursday 9-7:00 North Phoenix Location (1 hour paid lunch)

Friday 9-5:30 Central Phoenix Location (30 min paid lunch)

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. Prior experience in Allergy field preferred but not required.

Clinical Duties:

• Support provider teams by providing quality nursing care to both pediatric and adult allergy/asthma/immunology patients
• Preperation and administration of allergy shots
• perform all testing (skin, breathing, etc)
• biologic medication administration
• Provide patients with educational literature
• Triage Medical calls, give advice as necessary, and consult with the providers
• Maintain a smooth patient flow
• Comply with all OSHA/HIPAA and other government regulations
• Other assigned duties

Education/Employment Standards:

• Must have an active medical assistant certification or course completion certificate
• Current CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers preferred

• Excellent verbal communication and chart documentation
• Patient confidentiality
• EMR Experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• This position requires prolong standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping

This is a private medical practice specializing in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. All our physicians are Board Certified Allergists.
