Duties

  • Manage the overall operations of hospice services, including clinical, administrative, and financial functions to ensure efficient delivery of care
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' needs, including those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
  • Supervise staff across various disciplines such as nursing, social work, home & community care providers, and group home personnel
  • Oversee budgeting processes, financial management, and resource allocation to maintain fiscal health while delivering exceptional care
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards in hospice and long-term care settings
  • Coordinate with families and caregivers to support residents' emotional well-being and facilitate smooth communication regarding care plans
  • Lead staff training initiatives focused on dementia care, medication administration, Alzheimer's support strategies, and resident safety protocols

Skills

  • This position requires an RN with Extensive experience in senior care environments such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement homes or group homes
  • Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in healthcare or long-term care settings
  • Strong understanding of hospice operations management combined with knowledge of home & community care practices
  • Expertise in developing personalized care plans for residents with dementia or memory-related conditions
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, resource planning, and cost control within healthcare operations
  • Familiarity with medication administration procedures and safety standards in hospice or home care settings
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Knowledge of social work principles related to eldercare and developmental disabilities support Must have QA and Quality background
