Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies

• Perform procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, venipuncture, and IV infusion

• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs

• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment

• Educate patients and their families on disease management and preventive care

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks)

• Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements

Skills:

• Excellent clinical assessment skills

• Proficiency in performing procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, venipuncture, and IV infusion

• Knowledge of Urology (preferred)

• Strong understanding of medical standards and best practices

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in (GA)

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area

• Minimum (1-5) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
