Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multi-disciplinary engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location-based position.

Role Description:
The Engineering Team at Arcadis is experiencing exciting growth, and we are thrilled to announce a new and exciting career opportunity for a Civil Engineer with EIT qualifications, specializing in Land/Site Development, to join our dynamic team in our New Jersey office. This is an excellent chance to contribute to innovative and impactful projects. These projects may include, but are not limited to, the design and development of hospitals, airports, vibrant residential neighborhoods, bustling shopping complexes, and comprehensive educational campuses. Role Accountabilities:
- Assist in the design and execution of civil infrastructure and site development projects for public and private sector clients
- Support project teams in preparing and completing construction documents and related deliverables
- Perform civil engineering design tasks, including site and roadway layout, site grading and drainage, and utility sizing and layout, etc.
- Stormwater management design, including retention/detention facilities
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle
- Work with municipalities to obtain permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 or more years working on civil development projects for the private and/or public sector
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred
- Experience working with internal or external Teams as well as stakeholders, and can develop positive relationships with all parties
