General Requirements - Certified Phlebotomist:

  • Shift 8am to 4pm daily.
  • Must have active Cell phone.
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach office daily.
  • Must be willing to undergo national background check.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and random drug tests during employment.
  • Must have active driver's license & clean driving record; no major infractions past 3 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, as well as Phlebotomy certification (recognized in state of WA) from an accredited agency.
  • Must be registered/licensed in state of WA.
  • Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist.

Proficiency in the following: blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups, urine drug screen collections, PCR tests specimen collections, pediatric blood collections, and difficult draws (patients in long-term care facilities, drug rehabilitation facilities, prisons, psychiatric facilities, or similar facilities)

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or formal training course in Phlebotomy. Or
  • Related field and experience in a medical institution or clinic setting Or

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following qualifications:

  • United States military veterans.
  • Strong knowledge, training, and experience in health management.
  • Experience with tracking and compiling medical records.
