Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and prevent theft or vandalism
• Monitor CCTV systems continuously to identify suspicious activity and respond promptly to security breaches
• Manage access control by verifying identification of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors before granting entry
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that could indicate theft or fraud and taking appropriate action

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety management
• Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in conflict management or surveillance are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of CCTV operation, security systems, and loss prevention techniques
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidence
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods; capable of responding quickly during emergencies
• Familiarity with legal protocols related to security enforcement and law enforcement procedures
