Position Overview
BayCare Medical Group, a leading, physician-led medical organization in Florida, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join their team at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, patient-focused team dedicated to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses. The position offers a rewarding blend of inpatient consultations and interdisciplinary care coordination within a well-established hospital system known for clinical excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
The physician will be working to provide palliative medicine as part of an established interdisciplinary team in the inpatient setting. Our teams consist of board-certified chaplains, licensed clinical social workers, and nurse practitioners.
- The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing a collaborative and positive team-based culture.
- Build strong relationships with referring providers, administration, and community partners.
- This is a full time, inpatient only opportunity with no call.
Position Requires: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
