Duties

• Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments
• Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately
• Assist with shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as cranes and forklifts to maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Handle materials with care during heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper stacking and storage within the warehouse
• Support warehouse management by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and ensure timely order fulfillment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments
• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy machinery use
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory control
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and extended periods of standing or walking
