Store Manager – Tailz Pet Resort & Grooming

Tailz is looking for a driven, hands-on **Store Manager** to lead daily operations and fuel sales growth across our doggy daycare, dog & cat boarding, grooming, and retail departments.

This role is ideal for someone who loves animals, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in running a business efficiently while developing a strong, motivated team.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations across all departments
  • Driving sales growth, performance, and accountability
  • Hiring, coaching, developing, and supporting staff at all levels
  • Upholding Tailz' standards for animal care, safety, cleanliness, and service
  • Building strong client relationships and handling concerns professionally
  • Ensuring schedules, workflows, and resources are optimized
  • Leading by example—stepping into any role when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of animal care and behaviour
  • CPDT certification or equivalent positive dog training certification is a strong asset
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop people
  • Confident communicator who is unafraid to have honest, productive conversations
  • A natural team player who leads from the floor, not the office
  • Sales-minded with a genuine interest in running a business efficiently
  • Energetic, organized, and comfortable being on your feet throughout the day
  • Mature, positive, and solution-focused with a true can-do attitude
  • A genuine love of dogs and cats

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
