Store Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably.

Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets
• Manage daily deposits, cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping tasks accurately
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies at all times

Requirements

• Proven management experience in retail environment with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
• Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and sales management
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Customer service-oriented mindset with effective phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, interviewing, retaining, and training new staff
• Previous assistant manager or shift management experience is preferred. Knowledge of marketing techniques relevant to retail settings preferred

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
