Maintenance Director

CareCore at Mary Scott is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Director to lead the care and upkeep of our beautiful, historic facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for the building and grounds
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with life safety codes, NFPA 99, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate and perform building repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance
• Maintain safety programs and respond promptly to maintenance concerns
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records

Requirements

• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
• Working knowledge of building systems including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and life safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
