We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef and to join our dynamic culinary team. The interview will be in person from Wednesday to Sunday, from 2-6 pm at the restaurant Silk, 1664 lenox ave, Miami Beach.

Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and dessert,s with attention to detail and presentation.
• Decorate cakes and confections with advanced techniques to create visually stunning treats.
• Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining product integrity.
• Assist in food production and food preparation tasks to support daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain the kitchen area's cleanliness and organization, adhering to strict food safety standards.
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products for customers and events.

Requirements

• Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts.
• Skilled in cake decorating, food presentation, and creative culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
• Experience in food production, catering, or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent knife skills, baking expertise, and familiarity with various cooking methods.
• Strong attention to detail in packaging, food preparation, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions.
