Position Overview
You will strategically partner with business leaders to ensure Human Resources services effectively align with and support strategies to meet constantly changing business needs. As a strong leader, you will champion a positive work culture through imparting vision, empowerment, and program development. You will be responsible for all personnel administration matters, including talent acquisition, performance evaluation, employee relations, disciplinary action, succession planning, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish HR best practices by creating and implementing policies and procedures.
- Work within a pre-determined budget to acquire, allocate, and manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner that mitigates risk.
- Determine key indicators of success and use them to drive HR strategy and business outcomes.
- Lead talent acquisition, performance evaluation, and succession planning processes.
- Manage employee relations and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Develop and oversee professional development and training programs.
- Ensure all HR functions are administered effectively across multiple locations.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in areas such as compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition & development, performance management, and/or strategic planning.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic HR role.
- Advanced knowledge of state and federal employment laws, safety practices, and employee relations principles.
