MacKay's Truck & Trailer Center is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Finance Manager to join our dealership team at either our Dartmouth or Truro locations. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, excels at relationship building, and is committed to delivering compliant, ethical, and customer-centered financing solutions.

MacKay's is a family-owned business with over 40 years of experience operating full-line Truck, Trailer & Compact Equipment dealerships, with locations in Truro and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Moncton, New Brunswick.

About the Role:

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting dealership profitability and customer satisfaction by managing financing arrangements. Working closely with sales teams, lenders, and customers, the Finance Manager ensures deals are structured accurately, funded efficiently, and fully compliant with all regulatory and lender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structure and present customer financing solutions, including loans, leases, and balloon programs, while supporting dealership profitability
• Work directly with lenders to secure approvals, competitive rates, and timely funding
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, lender, and dealership requirements through accurate documentation and funding oversight
• Collaborate with sales and accounting teams, track key finance performance metrics, and support continuous process improvement

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of finance experience
• Strong knowledge of financing structures and products
• Excellent customer presentation and communication skills
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, ethical, and compliance-focused mindset
• Proficiency with dealership systems and Microsoft Office
