JOB PURPOSE 

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position works closely with internal teams to support financial reporting, reconciliations, audit activities, and ongoing process improvements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 


• Prepare and post journal entries for balance sheet and income statement accounts 


• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger     accuracy 


• Manage intercompany transactions, payroll reconciliations, and related account   maintenance 


• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations 


• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting 


• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation 


• Identify opportunities to improve internal controls and accounting processes 


• Assist with internal and external audits 


• Support special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives as required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS 


• Enrolled in a CPA program (Is an asset but not required) 


• Strong mathematical and analytical skills 


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
