Inside Sales Representative Job Description: In this role, you serve as a specialized solutions provider for clients with complex freight requirements. You will manage the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and proactive prospecting to project quoting and execution. You will work closely with the operations team to factor in routing constraints and permitting needs, ensuring every heavy-haul shipment is handled with precision. This is a fast-paced position for a closer who understands the logistics "language" and thrives on high-volume activity. Key Responsibilities Include: Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a steady stream of clients requiring specialized or heavy-haul services. Consultative Quoting: Prepare accurate pricing and proposals based on specific project dimensions and weight. Strategic Partnership: Develop long-term relationships with shippers, brokers, and industry partners. Operational Liaison: Coordinate with dispatch to ensure customer expectations and delivery timelines are met. CRM Integrity: Track all sales activity and market trends to consistently hit or exceed revenue targets. Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements: Specialized Experience: Must have a background in heavy haul, oversized/overweight, flatbed, or specialized trucking. Sales Background: Proven success in inside sales, account management, or logistics business development. Industry Fluency: Ability to read project specs, understand routing challenges, and speak confidently about permitting and specialized equipment. Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to close deals and build rapport in a fast-moving, competitive environment.
