We are seeking reliable Warehouse Workers to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling of goods within our facility. You will be involved in various tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory accurately.
- Pick items from shelves based on order fulfillment requests.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and verification.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be comfortable working in a busy urban environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
