As a Picker/Packer, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and speed in getting products ready for our customers. Your role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. You will work with a diverse range of products, requiring careful handling and meticulous attention to detail. This position offers a stable work environment and opportunities for growth within our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Support team members to achieve daily logistics targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for entire shifts.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
