We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick sheet.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety shoes and vests.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following logistics procedures.
