Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities.
- Manage inventory control and accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and report on key warehouse performance metrics.
- Assist with lifting and moving of heavy items when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting .
- Experience with providing and enforcing the use of PPE .
