Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on warehouse machinery.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service requests.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Stay updated on relevant technologies and best practices in warehouse maintenance.
- Support inventory management processes related to spare parts.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work in San Francisco, California.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
