Join our innovative team as a Warehouse Technician in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse facility. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and other machinery. You will also contribute to optimizing warehouse layout and ensuring all safety standards are met, including the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your technical skills will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth flow of goods in our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment compliance.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Contribute to the optimization of warehouse layout and workflows.
- Identify potential equipment failures and implement preventative measures.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring operational continuity.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform necessary repairs, with occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
