We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Austin, Texas distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. This position is key to our Logistics operations, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and readily available. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to reconcile inventory counts, identify root causes of errors, and implement corrective actions. A strong emphasis on Safety is required, particularly in maintaining organized storage areas and preventing accidents. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting of items up to 30 pounds, walking, and standing for extended periods. Appropriate use of PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves, is required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in inventory control, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with inventory management software. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Familiarity with warehouse operations and supply chain principles is beneficial.
