We are looking for a reliable and energetic Material Handler to join our team in Seattle, Washington. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing materials for shipment. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our warehouse and requires individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to safety. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that inventory is managed accurately and that orders are processed promptly. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively. We emphasize a strong safety culture and provide ongoing training to ensure all team members are equipped to handle their responsibilities safely and efficiently. This position offers a great chance to gain experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Perform physical Lifting of materials up to the specified weight limit.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting and manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
