We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including moving inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks with merchandise.
- Moving and organizing stock within the warehouse using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Picking and packing orders according to specific customer requirements.
- Accurately recording inventory data and updating shipping/receiving logs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Assisting with regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Ensuring that all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
- Performing other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
