We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Sacramento, California. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, identifying, stocking, and dispatching materials. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be responsible for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accurate inventory counts and proper handling of all products. You will collaborate with other team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent stamina, and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. This role is integral to our overall logistics chain, ensuring that products reach their destinations on time and in excellent condition. You will adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Sort, count, and verify incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
