We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in New York City, New York. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counts, receiving and put-away verification, stock adjustments, and discrepancy resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding rigorous inventory standards. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory processes. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to continuous improvement in inventory accuracy. A fundamental understanding of warehouse operations and the importance of precise record-keeping is essential. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Strict adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times to ensure a safe working environment. The ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting is also a requirement of this role, as you may occasionally assist with stock movement or verification. This role is key to optimizing our supply chain and ensuring that our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and identify reorder points.
- Ensure accuracy of receiving and put-away processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Collaborate with operations teams on inventory-related issues.
- Implement process improvements for inventory control.
