We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our busy logistics operations in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our distribution center, involving a range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to handle Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Willingness to use required PPE .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
