Join our vibrant logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Salt Lake City, Utah! We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise retrieval of items from inventory and their careful preparation for shipment. Success in this position relies on your ability to work with speed and accuracy in a busy warehouse environment, while always prioritizing Safety . You'll be a key player in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack products carefully and securely, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Ensure all shipments are correctly labeled and processed for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to warehouse best practices.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, as required by the job.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including standing for long periods and repetitive motions.
- Must be capable of Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and willingness to use PPE .
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Good organizational skills.
