We are looking for a certified Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse. Your role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our Logistics processes. We prioritize Safety above all else, and expect our operators to maintain the highest standards of performance and care. If you have a valid forklift certification and a strong commitment to workplace Safety, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect forklift daily and perform basic maintenance checks, reporting any issues.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and stocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the warehouse.
- Ensure correct use of required PPE at all times.
- Perform tasks that may involve some manual Lifting of items.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our Logistics operations.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with required PPE for forklift operation.
- Knowledge of basic Logistics and warehouse management principles.
