We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your role will be crucial in managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating receiving and shipping activities, and optimizing inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee inventory control, conducting regular cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Safety.
- Ensure compliance with all company regulations and OSHA standards.
- Manage the efficient use of warehouse space and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of stock.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all team members are wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with Lifting of heavy items as needed and guide team members on proper lifting techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Physical ability to perform required tasks, including Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with required PPE.
