We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at our Miami, Florida facility. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of safety, and managing a team of warehouse associates. You will implement and enforce company policies, optimize workflows, and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth logistics. A key focus will be on team leadership, motivation, and performance management. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The role may involve some physical tasks, including occasional lifting and demonstration of safe material handling. A paramount responsibility is fostering a culture of safety, requiring strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Manage inventory accuracy and implement strategies for improvement.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment, including proper PPE usage.
- Resolve operational issues and communicate effectively with management and other departments.
- Monitor productivity and implement measures to meet performance targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with WMS and other relevant software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment and ensuring PPE compliance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
