We are looking for a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our growing logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the outbound flow of goods, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, documented correctly, and dispatched efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment details, and maintaining comprehensive shipping records. You will play a key part in upholding our commitment to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. We value proactive individuals who can manage multiple tasks and contribute positively to our warehouse operations and overall logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Verify shipment contents against orders and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date shipping records and logs.
- Operate shipping equipment such as pallet jacks and scales.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct usage of PPE at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
