Join our team as an Order Picker in Nashville, Tennessee! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick products for customer orders in our fast-paced warehouse. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the facility, locate specific items using pick lists or handheld scanners, and prepare them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and prioritizes safety. We provide a supportive work environment and emphasize adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Select correct items and quantities from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Utilize scanning equipment and follow pick paths to maximize efficiency.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Place picked items into totes, boxes, or onto carts for transport.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including safe lifting procedures and the use of PPE.
- Achieve daily picking performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks to support the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift.
- Willingness to adhere to safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics is helpful.
