Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating stock adjustments, and implementing inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce loss. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, turnover, and shrinkage.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to ensure overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment through diligent adherence to lifting guidelines and operational protocols.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
