Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any issues or shortages to management.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to track inventory movement.
- Train other staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with safety procedures, including PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
