Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report any issues or shortages to management.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to track inventory movement.
  • Train other staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures, including PPE requirements and safe lifting practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
