Join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis as an Order Picker! You will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your primary duties will include navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve items using an RF scanner, verifying order accuracy, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products to fulfill customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify product quantities and types against order specifications.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor immediately.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety vests and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
