We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, meticulously packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is vital to our supply chain operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. You will work closely with inventory management systems to track order fulfillment and maintain stock accuracy. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. We prioritize safety in our operations and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Some Lifting will be required, and you must be able to manage boxes of varying weights. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate boxes or containers, ensuring proper cushioning and protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage completed orders for shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
