You will play a critical part in our supply chain operations, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. This position requires adherence to strict safety procedures, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and a commitment to maintaining an organized and safe working environment. Understanding of shipping software and carrier requirements is highly beneficial. You will work closely with warehouse associates and management to streamline shipping processes. Responsibilities:
- Generate and affix accurate shipping labels to packages.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order details against shipping documentation.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain shipping records and logs.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to safety standards, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and external partners.
- Assist with other shipping and receiving duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics support.
- Proficiency with shipping software and online carrier portals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
